Griffith, Barbara J., 88, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born on April 22, 1937, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late William J. and Evelyn Sells Griffith.
Barbara was a graduate of Triadelphia High School, a retired bookkeeper for Hubco in Wheeling, WV and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
She loved bowling and was in several local leagues.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by seven sisters, June Weisgerber, Lois Tucker, Norma Griffith, Janet Estep, Eileen Cook, Jean Fisher, and Judy Pegg, and three brothers, Joe, John, and Bill Griffith.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bishop’s Chapel at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1685 National Road, Wheeling, WV, with Father Jeeson V. Stephan officiating.
