Gary Wayne Tennant, 67, passed away on December 6, 2025, at his home in Moundsville, WV. Gary was born on November 4, 1958, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Magers) Tennant.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph as well as two sisters Deborah Tennant and Bridget K. Tennant.
Gary leaves behind his mother Dorothy; sister Kim (Tennant) Darrah and Bob Streight; nephew Sean Darrah; nieces Crystal “Brie” Darrah, Renee Cross, and Holly Rice; great-nephews Austin Darrah and Coulton Rice; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Gary was an avid animal advocate, dedicated family man, and reliable friend. He was a talented bull whip manufacturer who partnered with his father in Tennant Manufacturing Company, Inc. Afterwards, he worked for many years as a mechanic for family and friends at Layman’s Auto Repair.
