Bonna June Sailer Reed, 85, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Continuous Care Center.
She was born February 1, 1940, daughter of the late Albert and Marguerite Stevens Sailer.
Bonna was a member of New Life United Methodist Church, retired from Wheeling Hospital as a housekeeper and was a life-long resident of Wheeling Island. She was so happy to have lived to be a part of her great-grandsons’ lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Reed, Jr.; grandson, Eric Yesenczki; and sisters, Lyda Wrixon, Grace Ressler, Sandy Comer and Nancy “Murph” Donaghy.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Matthew) Yesenczki; granddaughter, Megan Hafer; great-grandsons, Caleb and twins, Andrew and Brandon; twin sister, Donna Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Continuous Care Center and Valley Hospice for their wonderful care of Bonna.
There will be no services. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, will be held at the convenience of the family.
