Rosemary Garrett Lescalet, 81, of Wheeling passed away on Thursday January 8, 2026 after courageously battling a long illness.
She was born in Charleston, WV daughter of the late, Denzel and Cybel (Cavender) Garrett.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon L. Parsons and 1st husband Virgil McCommack.
Rosemary was a retired Realtor, avid golfer and active member of C3 Church. She loved her family, cherished her friends and adored her kitty cats. Rosemary loved to laugh, dance, music and had a great sense of humor. She was a wonderful, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Duane Lescalet; daughter, Sherry J. (McCommack) Sharpsky; grandchildren, Jennifer (Daniel) Baciak, Nicholas Sharpsky; great-granddaughter, Iyla Baciak and niece Amy Parsons.
Friends and family will gather Monday January 12, 2026 for a celebration of life at C3 Church, 250 Bethany Pike, Wheeling at 11 am; service to begin at 12 noon with luncheon to follow.
