Jerry Frischkorn, of Salineville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on March 28, 1957, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a cherished son, father, brother, and grandfather.
A dedicated professional, Jerry spent his career working diligently in the fields of mining and reclamation. His strong work ethic was evident to all who knew him, and he was regarded as a very hard worker who took pride in his labor.
Jerry had a profound love for the outdoors, which he expressed through his enjoyment of farming, hunting, and spending time in nature. These passions were an integral part of his life, providing him with joy and contentment.
An active member of his community, Jerry was involved with the local VFW and American Legion, where he formed lasting friendships and shared many memorable experiences.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth (McClellen) Frischkorn; his son, Zachary Frischkorn; and his brother, Richard Frischkorn.
Jerry is survived by his loving daughter, Paige Sheville, and his sister, Mamie Dunn (Jim DeMaria). He leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Jaelyn, Raya, Jessilyn, Kinsley, Ryleigh, and Charleigh Sheville. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews, Adam (Rebecca) and Dalton Frischkorn, as well as his great nieces and nephews, Austin, Kenneth, Ayden, and Breena Frischkorn.
Jerry loved his family dearly and was a source of strength and support for them. His legacy of love and dedication to those he held dear will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2-4pm. A funeral service to celebrate Jerry’s life will follow at 4pm. A private family burial will occur at a later date.
Jerry Frischkorn will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
