It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cora Alice (Johnson) Robertson, 92, of Moundsville, West Virginia. She left this world on January 15, 2026, to be united once again with the love of her life.
Cora was born December 16, 1933, to the late Daniel Johnson and Bertha Belle (Gray) Johnson. She married Harry Lee Robertson Sr. on December 24, 1949, and cherished every day she had with him until his passing on March 5, 1977.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Johnnie Calvin Johnson, George Johnson, Ella Henderson, and Herbert Johnson; her sons David Paul Robertson, Robert Walter Robertson, and Ralph Edward Robertson; and her grandson, Daniel Raymond Robertson.
She leaves behind her heartbroken children, Harry Lee Robertson, Jr., Danny Ray Robertson (Pam), Kim Lance Robertson (Sarah), and Mary Magdalene Aston (Steve); 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Cora spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and reading her bible; but her greatest love and accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother.
In keeping with Cora’s wishes, there will be no public service. Her private arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists Moundsville Chapel.
