Elizabeth G. Vasiliou Manos, 98, of Wheeling, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at Otterbein Senior Life in Perrysburg, Ohio.
She was born on December 23, 1927, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Ernest and Georgia Kafalia Vasiliou.
Elizabeth was director of claims administrator at Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 11 years and part owner of The Flambeau Hair Salon in Wheeling with her brother, Anthony Vasiliou. She was a member of St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, a member of the Ladies of Philoptochos, and loved to help bake and assist in all the activities of the church. She also spent a number of years assisting her brother, Steve Vasiliou in his Pottery/Art business.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Manos; three brothers, Michael, Steve and George Vasiliou; daughter, Maria Crum; and grandson, Matthew Manos.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Michael (Kathy) Manos; brother, Anthony Vasiliou; three grandchildren, Stephen Crum, Alyssa Dixon, Michael J. (Alyssa) Manos; two great grandchildren, Elena Paige Dixon, and Trey Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-232-2732) on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 5-8 pm with a Trisagion Service being held at 6 pm. Services will be held at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10 am with Father Demetrios Tsikouris officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
