Richard “George” Johnson, born on June 21, 1943, in Upperglade, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Cameron, West Virginia, at the age of 82.
Richard, affectionately known as George to those who knew him well, served his country with honor and dedication as a member of the United States Army. His commitment to duty and service was a testament to his character and values.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Merlin Levi Johnson and Virginia Mae Devaughn.
