Erlene Lou Lowe, 85, of Moundsville, WV, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Wheeling Hospital – WVU.
She was born in Landa, ND a daughter of the late Erling and Luella (Dahl) Martinson. Erlene was a woman of faith, adhering to the Lutheran tradition throughout her life. Known for her dedication and hard work, she retired from Wood Health Clinic, where she contributed her skills and expertise in Insurance and Billing.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, James F. Lowe and a sister, Judi Harlow
Erlene leaves behind three devoted daughters, Tammy (Mark) Grandstaff of Moundsville, Cathy (Greg Wood) Polis of Moundsville and Lynda (Jon) Leonardi of Myrtle Beach, SC; her brother, Loren (Debra) Martinson of OK; a sister, Debbie (Ron) Mayo of TX; her granddaughters, Kayla (Dustin) Evans and Carly (Matt) Polis; her great-grandchildren, Jack and Nora Evans, several nieces and nephews and her cherished cat, Timmy.
She is remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering support for her family and friends. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
