Dawn’re Dusci, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, in her hometown of Wheeling, WV. Born on October 11, 1962, she graced this world with her presence for 63 years.
Dawn’re was a dedicated employee at a local café, where her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many patrons. Her artistic spirit shone brightly through her love for art and painting, and she was known for her exquisite cake decorating skills. Her talents extended to the community as she contributed her decorating expertise to the Oglebay Festival of Trees, bringing joy and beauty to all who attended.
A devoted mother, Dawn’re cherished her sons, Joey and Jeno Dusci, who were the light of her life. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family, including her brother Mark Dusci and his wife Melanie, her sister Laura Blackburn and her husband Rick, as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Her loyal dog, Moose, was a constant companion and brought her much joy.
Dawn’re was a member of C3 – Christ Community Church, where her faith and compassion were evident to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Vincent Dusci and Lois Joan Dusci, whose memories she cherished deeply.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Wheeling Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many hearts.
