Joseph “Joe” Ross 65, of Warwood, WV passed away on April 14th, 2026 at his home under the care of hospice after a long battle with cancer.
Born March 2nd 1961 in Wheeling, he was the son of the late Robert Ross and Betty (Kubik) Ross.
He is survived by two Daughters Amber Dow of Romney, W.V., and Crystal Tetrick ( Tom) of Wheeling, and a Son Jerry (Amanda) Rock of Romney W.V., Grandson’s Ethan Dow, and Noah Rock and two Granddaughter’s Izabelle Dow and Aubree Rock. A Brother Charles Ross, and a Sister Michelle (Rob) Hembra as well as his Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Tammy Garback.
Joe had a great sense of humor and loved to make himself and other people laugh.He was a remarkable and truly loving Dad and Pap Pap. He was outgoing, loved music and loved watching NASCAR. He had spent more than 40 years working as an auto mechanic where he accumulated many friends whom he enjoyed meeting up with. You could often find Joe riding his bicycle whenever the weather was good.
There will be a graveside service at a later date this summer.
