Mary Elizabeth Britton Clatterbuck, 72, of McMechen, WV, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Moundsville Healthcare Center.
She was born August 28, 1953, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Ray Franklin Britton and Mary Ruth Crawford Britton.
Mary was a Catholic by faith and a cook at Ponderosa. She enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with family and playing cards and slot machines; she was always trying to hit that jackpot!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Joshua David Clatterbuck; brother, Frank Britton; and her significant other, Mark Allen, who passed away a day before her.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Mark) Scammell; grandsons, Dustin (Adrianna) Hall and Matthew Hall; sister, Ruth (Ron) Alexander; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
Interment in Davis Cemetery, Bellaire, OH, will be held at the convenience of the family.
