Peggy Joyce Jones Riggs, 91, of Bridgeport, OH passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at Rolling Hills Nursing Center.
She was born April 14, 1935 in Sneads Ferry, NC, daughter of the late James and Annie Jones.
Peggy was a member of the Vineyard Church (now known as Newbridge). She loved to bowl and was a member of a bowling league for many years. She was a huge animal lover.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Riggs; her daughter, Diane Diprosperis; her grandsons, Charles Riggs and Justin Mann; and 4 brothers.
Peggy is survived by her children, Virginia Dintini, Debra Griffin, Tessie Riggs, Jimmy Riggs, and Pamela Riggs; as well as, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Friends will be received on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 from 12pm until the time of service at 5pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311).
