Joshua Allen “Money” Taylor, 42, of Wheeling passed away on Saturday May 23, 2026 surrounded by family.
He was born in Wheeling on November 28, 1983, son of Sue “Albert” Taylor and the late Joseph Lee Taylor.
He was a 3rd generation carpet installer and worked at Flooring America. Was a member and leader of Ohio County 4H and was a member of the WV All Stars. He was an animal lover and avid Cleveland Browns fan.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Russell Albert; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Price Albert and uncle David Albert.
In addition to his mother, “Money” was survived by his brother, Jason (LeKesha) Taylor; aunt, Janice Albert Coffey; step-father, Thomas Quinn; niece, Emberlee Taylor; nephew, Elias Taylor and his best friends, Casey West, B.J. Cook, Ian Carnaghan; and many other loving family members.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday June 6, 2026, at 11 am at Elm Grove United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Elm Grove United Methodist Church, Iney’s Boutique or the Ohio County 4H.
