In Loving Memory of Holly Lynn Litten Clelland
Holly Lynn Litten Clelland, formerly of Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on July 15, 1962, Holly was the beloved daughter of Edward Frank Litten of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and Darlene Wallace Litten of Bridgeport, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Mark D. Litten, and her husband, James Clelland of Wheeling, West Virginia.
Holly dedicated many years of service to the Wheeling Intelligencer and News-Register, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of her career, her greatest joy in life was her family. She especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, whether taking trips to the beach, enjoying short vacations, or simply creating special memories together.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Shayla Clelland, and Shayla’s significant other, Ted Rogers; her cherished grandchildren, Ashtyn Rogers, Addison Rogers, and Armani Rogers; her sister-in-law, Robyn Litten; her nieces, Katelyn Litten and Kellyn Litten; as well as countless friends and extended family members whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Holly will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the joy she found in spending time with those she loved. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of many and will never be forgotten.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Holly’s greatest legacy is the love she shared with her family. The memories she created, the laughter she inspired, and the care she gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
