Sandra Lee Brothers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on June 16, 2026, just days shy of her 85th birthday. Born on June 21, 1941, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, Sandra lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Sandra dedicated many years of her life to the Bridgeport School District, where she worked as a cook before retiring. Her warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her, and she was known for her generous spirit and welcoming nature.
In her leisure time, Sandra found joy in simple pleasures. She loved spending time at Wheeling Downs, watching birds, and enjoying quiet moments on her swing. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family and friends, who were the center of her world.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Rose (Pempek) and John C. Pollock; her sisters, Louise Strauss, Kay Moore, and Marsha Zupko; and her brothers, Jack Pollock and Ron Pollock.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, David Brothers; her children, David (Janine) Brothers Jr., Jeffrey (Cheri) Brothers, Christy Brothers, and Jennifer Brothers (Tommy); her sisters, Rosalie Dlesk, Patty (Lou) Krol, and Janice Pollock; her brother, Rob (Connie) Pollock; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Sandra’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through them.
The family will hold services at their convenience, honoring Sandra’s wishes and celebrating her life privately. Sandra will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
