Mary “Libby” Elizabeth Wallace Bowman, 83, of Wheeling, WV, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born August 22, 1942, in Wheeling, daughter of the late George and Dorothy Gellner Wallace.
Libby loved her grandchildren very much. She enjoyed playing Bunco, going swimming and watching The Young & The Restless and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bowman, Sr.; daughter, Lisa Archey; granddaughter, Jamie Reneé Moore; sisters, Jean Hummel and Helen Stefanow; and a brother, David Humes.
She is survived by five children, Robert Bowman, Jr., Marlana (Burnie) Yoho, Heidi Kins, Jude (Nicole) Bowman and Mandi (Jeff) Vaonakis; grandchildren, Sabrina, Andreá, Deven, Robert, Tanner, Julie, Jeffery, Dori, Madison, Ashton, Ethan, Jude, Jocelyn, Jada, Justin and Darryck; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and Edie, Anna and Skylar from Good Shepherd Nursing Home for the wonderful care of Libby.
