Kristen Marie (Williams) Walton age 44 of Wheeling, WV passed away Wednesday June 17th, 2026 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born on December 30, 1981 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Marilyn (Gibson) Williams and her surviving father Charles Williams of Wheeling, WV. Also preceding in death is her husband Gerald (Bud) Walton Jr.
Kristen aspired to be just like her mother, whether it was playing the flute in the Wheeling Park Highschool marching band or attending WVNCC school of Nursing program in 2001.
Kristen took on many career paths, but eventually she found her heart in the oil and gas industry where she worked for the last 5 years. Her use of humor in life’s challenges always brought everyone together. She absolutely cherished creating new memories whether it would be boating on the Ohio River or taking up skiing. Kristen was an avid animal lover and was very proactive in protecting their lives. Her beloved cat “Bella” will greatly miss her.
Kristen’s last and greatest gift was providing the gift of life by being a registered organ donor.
In addition to her father, Kristen is survived by her sister Tiffany Williams of New Kensington, PA, stepson Dylan Walton of Wheeling, WV, and her Auntie Car (Carleen) and Uncle Scott Neeper of Waco, TX and many cousins in TX and OH.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 1-2 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311).
