Sandra Kay Rodgers Warner, 79, of Wheeling, WV passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born December 16, 1946 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Howard and Wanda Rodgers.
Sandra graduated from Warwood High School and James Madison University school of nursing. She enjoyed a long career and retired from Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling.
Sandra was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary, Aerie #1932. She was also a longtime season ticket holder for the Wheeling Nailers and a dyed-in-the-wool fan of the West Virginia University Mountaineers athletic teams. Sandra was a Mountaineer through and through.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Bayha.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Tracey (Brent) Lawrence; her grandson, Turner Lawrence; her niece and nephew, Deborah Bayha and Mark (Kim) Bayha; her great-nephews, Jacob (Noel) Bayha and Nick Bayha; her brother-in-law, David Bayha; and her loving grand-dog, Zeus.
