Matthew S. Barry, of Wheeling, passed away July 7, 2026, at the age of 68.
He was born on October 22, 1957 in Wheeling, WV to the late William and Madeline Barry. Matt was retired from Tri-State Machine where he was a dedicated employee for nearly 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Jeff Coffield and great-grand-son, Martin Bradley Taylor.
Matt is survived by his devoted wife, Vicki (Theiss) Barry; brother, Doug (Mary Lou) Barry; sisters Cathie Barry, Anita (Bob) Turner and Brenda Barry; children, David (Christy) Barry, Kim (Chet) Richmond, Crystal Coffield and Rick (Heather) Custer; grandchildren, Taylore (Bryan) Gantzer, Alex (Melissa) Barry, Christopher Barry, Samantha (Andrew) Snider, Hunter Lavender, Rob (Carrie) Downer, Tyler Coffield, Austin (Tiffany) Coffield, Jarrett Coffield, Macenzie Coffield, JC Custer, Ashlee Baker, Brayden Custer, Zane Kestenbaum, Trina Baker, Jaeda Custer, Ashton Custer and Macy Baker as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
