Robert Emerson Wolfe III, 66, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling West Virginia.
Born on March 5, 1960, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert Emerson Wolfe II and Marlene Jeffries Wolfe.
His career as a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Union was marked by a steadfast dedication to building and maintaining bridges. Robert took immense pride in his craft, ensuring that every bridge he worked on stood as a testament to his skill and commitment.
Beyond his work, Robert was a passionate outdoorsman. He cherished the tranquility and challenge of hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect deeply with nature.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Wolfe.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa McMahon Wolfe, children: Stephanie (Andrew) Hebert and Josh (Rachel) Wolfe, and grandchildren: Skylar Hebert, Tanner Wolfe and Taylor Gazdik.
