Alberta “Sue” Dorothy Muldrew Haberfield, 94, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at her daughter’s residence in Joppa, AL.
She was born on September 26, 1931, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Albert L. and Dorothy Behrens Muldrew.
Alberta was a graduate of Wheeling High School. She retired from the parts/service department at Boury, Inc. and worked at Wheeling Wholesale and Grocery Company. She was a Lutheran by faith.
She liked bowling, crafts, crocheting, and her cats and dogs. She loved riding motorcycles and attending bike week in Daytona Beach, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Haberfield in 2014; daughter, Ruth Ann Haberfield; son, Edward Haglock, Jr.; and her twin brother, Albert “Sonny” L. Muldrew.
Alberta is survived by daughter, Linda Violet (Bill) White of Bethlehem, WV, twin daughters, Darlene (Dennis) Lambert of Joppa, AL and Arlene Doty of Pensacola, FL; son, James A. Haglock of MI; brother, Raymond “Butch” Muldrew of Triadelphia, WV; sister-in-law, Barbara Robrecht; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) with Reverend Harry Croft officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
