Donald K. Kidd, 62, of Bellaire, OH, passed away on July 18, 2026, in Bridgeport, WV. Don was born on November 4, 1963, in Moundsville, WV, the son of David E. and Margaret (Gouldsberry) Kidd.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his grandparents Effie and Willard Kidd and Frances and Thelma Gouldsberry.
Don leaves behind his loving family including his wife Beth; son Donald (Corey) Kidd of Wheeling, WV; step-children Joshua and Kara Kaylor, of Bellaire, OH; grandchildren Owen Wright of Cameron, WV, and Carter and Carson Kidd of Wheeling, WV; brothers Denny (Kim) Kidd, Larry (Beverly) Kidd, and Rick (Susan) Kidd; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Don was a member of Labor Union 1149 and a former correctional officer. He will be fondly remembered for enjoying folk, bluegrass, and classic country music; playing the spoons, relaxing on the porch; telling stories to his grandkids; and always joking around trying to get your goat.
Family and friends will be received at a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, July 21, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and again from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists Moundsville Chapel, 1500 Second St.
