Ronald Steven “Ronnie” Garai, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in Cameron, WV. He was born on October 17, 1971, In New Jersey.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his beloved mother Lucinda Moll; his father Ronald Garai; and his three younger sisters Dawn Garai, Michelle Lopez, and Lucinda Cobb.
He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Melissa Garai; his daughters Patricia Garai, Katelyn Apsey, and Lilith Garai; his son Xander Garai; his grandsons Rynn and Michael the III; his stepfather Jack Moll; his nephews Joey, Able, Jack, John, Giovanni, and Gianni; his nieces Brittany and Destiny; his cousin Christina; and many other relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Ronnie was a man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and was passionate about his hobbies. He loved collecting knives, firearms, Magic: The Gathering cards, and large, high-performance remote-control (RC) vehicles. Whether adding to his collections or spending time enjoying his RC vehicles, Ronnie found joy in the things that made him happy.
Above all else, Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and the love he had for them was unwavering. He will be remembered for his caring heart, his quiet strength, and the love he gave so freely to those closest to him.
Although Ronnie’s presence will be deeply missed, his love, laughter, and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts or all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on though his family and countless lives he touched.
