Charles “Charlie” Allen Duncan, a lifelong resident of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on March 27, 1952, in Wheeling, Charley was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.
Charlie dedicated his career to working in all departments at Riesbeck’s, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. His commitment to his work and his community was evident throughout his life.
A man of faith, Charlie was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Wheeling, WV.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Duncan and Dorothy Adair. He is survived by his loving wife, Marion Duncan; his son, Bryan (Lorie) Duncan; his brother, Jack (Sandra) Duncan; his cousin, Barbara Mistovich; his nephew, Scott (Dawn) Duncan; and his close friend, Geneva Templin, and her husband, Steve Fisher. Charlie also leaves behind many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Charlie’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of love and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
