Elizabeth “Beth” Glessner, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on October 3, 1963, in Wheeling, WV, Beth lived her life with warmth, dedication, and care for those around her.

A devoted caregiver by profession, Beth was known for her hard work and compassionate spirit. Her career was a testament to her selflessness and commitment to providing comfort to others. Beyond her professional life, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, affectionately called “Me Me” by her cherished grandchildren. Family was the cornerstone of Beth’s life, and she poured her love and energy into nurturing those close to her.

Beth is preceded in death by her father, Archie McIntire. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with her surviving family: her devoted husband, Dave Glessner; her mother, Sandra Brisson, and step-father, Joseph Brisson; her children, Holly Clayton (David), Peggy Donovall (Brad), Nicole Barnes (George), Amanda Cochran (Jamie), and Anthony Glessner (Dana); her brother, Archie McIntire (Cathy); her sister, April Woods (Paul); sisters-in-law, Donna Church and Robin Newland; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her faithful furry companion, her dog, Money.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, located at 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV. A private interment will follow on Saturday, August 1st, at Riverview Cemetery in Moundsville, WV.
