Douglas Edward Yandrich, 68, of Wheeling WV, passed away on Sunday August 9, 2026 after a courageous fight with cancer.
He was born April 28,1958, in Wheeling WV, son of the late Daniel Yandrich and Joan Lee Knight Yandrich.
Doug graduated from Triadelphia High School in 1976. He was so looking forward to his 50th class reunion on the 22nd of this month. He went on to graduate from West Liberty State College. Doug played multiple sports in his school years.
Doug is survived by his siblings, Daniel (Mary Ann) Yandrich, Lori (Jeff) Duvall and Robin (Tim Scott) Thorn; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Aunt, Audrey Yandrich, several cousins and close friends. Doug loved his family and friends and was loved by all.
One of Doug’s humorous sayings, Mom would tell Doug she wished he would settle down and get married. He would reply, ‘It may not be a pretty life, but it is my life.”

A celebration of life will be held at a place and time to be announced.
