Thomas Russell Clark, 70, of Wheeling, WV passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born February 2, 1956 in Wheeling, son of the late Harrison Jr. & Virginia Jebbia Clark.
A devoted animal lover, Tom was deeply involved in local rescues, facilitating the placement of over 3,000 animals and supporting numerous charities. He was a graduate of Wheeling High School, where he participated in the marching band, before attending both Marshall University and West Virginia University. A devoted Mountaineer fan, he also performed with the Clark Tse-Tse and cherished his time spent on Sanibel Island, FL.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Harrison Clark III.
Tom is survived by his brother and sister, James (Becky) Clark and Suzanne (Michael) Burns; the love of his life, Maryann Hastings; Maryann’s son, DJ Hastings; nieces and nephews, Harrison Clark IV, Bradlee Clark, Douglas Clark, Molly Manukin, Emily Clark, plus additional nieces and nephews in Colorado and Tennessee; his sister-in-law, Lorraine Clark; very best friend, Judy Haswell and special friends, Patricia (Sam) Starr, Richard Jagaczewski, and Olivia Starr.
Friends will be received on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 2pm until the time of service at 4pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311), with Pastor Charles Swiger officiating.
