John David Caruso Sr., age 52, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026. He was born on November 16, 1973, in Wheeling, WV, to Robert and Dolores Caruso.
John was a machinist by trade. He loved fishing, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending quality time with his loved ones, especially his children. He will be remembered for his kindness and his willingness to help others.
John is survived by his mother, Dolores Caruso; his life partner and significant other, Bonnie Minch Ruttencutter; his brother, Joe (Aleta) Caruso; his children, Kyle Caruso, Kristina Allen, John Caruso Jr., Jillyan Caruso; and his stepson, RaeSean Gordon. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Toad” Caruso. He also cherished his beloved dogs, Bella and Azhan.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for family and friends at CARE Funeral Home in Moundsville, WV. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this difficult time.
