Larry Allan Watson, 78, of Wheeling, WV, died Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born December 23, 1947, in Wheeling, son of the late Clair and Stella Watson.
Larry retired as a truck driver and enjoyed camping and gardening. He was a very loving and dedicated husband and father, his family meant the world to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard “Ricky” Allan Watson; sister, Georgia Miller; and brother, Kenny Piatt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Yates Watson; son, Kenny R. Watson; sister-in-law, Carolyn Piatt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM with Pastor Mike Palmer officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
Interment to follow in Park View Memorial Gardens.
