Judith Kaye Hartfile, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, in Bridgeport, Ohio. Born on September 19, 1948, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Judith graced this Earth for 77 years.

Judith’s life was devoted to her family and her role as a homemaker. She brought love, laughter, and care to her home, creating a nurturing environment for her children and grandchildren. Her family was the anchor of her world, and nothing gave her more joy than spending time with them.

A proud fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Judith cherished every game day with passion and enthusiasm. She also found great pleasure in the simple joys of life, such as sitting outside on her porch, enjoying the company of her neighbors, and sharing conversations that brightened her days. Bingo nights were another source of joy, where she enjoyed camaraderie and moments of happiness.

Judith was preceded in death by her loving parents, Howard and Georgeanna Ickler. She is survived by her children, Julia Turvey, Patrick “Ed” Norman, Bonnie (Sam) Norman, and Adam Hartfile, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Conner, and a large, loving family of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
