Susan Kay (Kaschke) Malarski, 72, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday August 21, 2026 at home surrounded by family.
She was born January 13, 1954, in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Ollie and Ruth (Lash) Kaschke.
Susan grew up in Moundsville, graduated from John Marshall HS and was a Catholic. She was a retired claims processor from Highmark Mountain State Blue Cross Blue Shield. She enjoyed bowling, the Christmas Holidays and the Beach. She loved her dogs, Sugar & Tobie, but her family was her absolute passion.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Sue Malarski; son, John Scott Malarski; sister, Debbie (Kaschke) Bohlen.
Susan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Pete Malarski; grandchildren, Marissa Malarski, Jayden Malarski; brother, Paul (Amy) Kaschke; special nephews, Hayden (Paige) Kaschke and Hunter Kaschke; bonus daughter, Kari Stillion and family and numerous cousins.
There will be no services.
