Lucille Marie Springhetti, born on December 4, 1953, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 10, 2026, at the age of 72.
Lucille was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent her career as a Supervisor for Rescare, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues and those she served. Her commitment to her work and her community was unwavering, and she touched the lives of many through her dedication and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Dorothy (Jumps) Fox; her brothers, Robert, Fred, and John Fox; and her sisters, Elizabeth Jeffers, Penelopy Doll, and Kimberly Fox.
Lucille is survived by her devoted husband, Eugene Springhetti, with whom she shared many cherished years. She leaves behind her loving children: Michael Springhetti and his wife Alicia, Krista Robinson and her husband Doug, James Springhetti and his wife Kristy, and Justin Springhetti and his wife Kourtney. She is also survived by her brothers, Charlie, Richard, and Paul Fox; her sisters, Nelda Jeffers and Emma Jean Jeffers; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life; and several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and generosity.
The family held services at their convenience to honor Lucille’s memory and celebrate her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
