Georgeana J. Bell, aged 78, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away on October 7, 2026, at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. Born on September 27, 1948, in Martins Ferry, she was a devoted homemaker who cherished the simple joys of life.
Georgeana was known for her spirited and ornery nature, a trait that endeared her to family and friends alike. She found comfort and happiness in her rocking chair and enjoyed waving at neighbors from her swing along Wegee Creek. Her greatest joys were her beloved grandchildren and the time spent watching crime shows.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Nagy and Daniel Bell; her daughter, Katherine Nagy; and her parents, George and Rose Marie Roth.
Georgeana is survived by her daughters Lorrie (Eddy) Starnes, Tammy (Dennis) Pedelose, Jamie (Scotty) Poore, Melissa (John) Beaver, and Jessica (Joshua) Albert; fourteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral & Cremation of Moundsville, West Virginia.
Georgeana’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, as a loving mother, grandmother, and a woman with a lively spirit.
