***Here is a beautiful testament to a mother’s love. Becky’s children have written the following heartfelt letter in loving memory of their mom—a touching tribute to the special bond they shared and the love that will forever remain in their hearts.***

Today, I stand before you with a heart that is broken, filled with sadness, and yet overflowing with love as I say goodbye to my beautiful mother.

There are no words that can truly describe what my mother meant to me. She was more than a mother. She was a blessing in my life, a source of comfort, a place of safety, and someone whose love I will carry with me forever.

Mom, I never imagined that I would have to stand here and speak about you in the past tense. I never imagined that the day would come when I would have to say goodbye to you. There is so much I wish I could tell you, so many things I wish we could share, and so many moments I wish I could have with you again.

A mother’s love is one of life’s greatest gifts. It is a love that comforts us when we are hurting, encourages us when we feel weak, and reminds us that we are never truly alone. Your love has been a part of my life in ways that words can never fully express.

Thank you, Mom, for the love you gave me, for the sacrifices you made, and for all the things you did, both big and small, that helped shape the person I am today. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, the moments of laughter, and even the difficult times that taught me strength.

I know that life will never be quite the same without you. There will be days when I reach for the phone to call you, days when I wish I could hear your voice, and moments when all I will want is one more hug from you. I will miss your presence, your warmth, and the simple comfort of knowing you were here.

But even in my grief, I will try to be grateful. Grateful that I was blessed to have you as my mother. Grateful for the time we shared. Grateful for the love that connected us and for the memories that death can never take away.

Mom, although I can no longer hold your hand, I will hold your memory in my heart. Although I can no longer hear your voice, I will remember the things you taught me. And although I can no longer see your face, I will carry your love with me wherever life takes me.

Your life mattered. Your love mattered. You mattered more than you could ever have known.

If love could have kept you here, you would have lived forever.

As I say goodbye today, I do so with tears in my eyes, love in my heart, and a promise that you will never be forgotten. Your story will continue through the lives you touched, the love you shared, and the memories we will cherish for the rest of our days.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Thank you for being my mother. Thank you for being a part of my life. I wish I could have more time with you, but I will forever be grateful that I had you at all.

Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.
