Ruth Elizabeth Ullum Monroe, 84, of Bethany, WV, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home.
She was born November 14, 1941, in Dallas, WV, daughter of the late Everett and Margaret Taylor Ullum.
Ruth retired from the housekeeping department at Wheeling Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Monroe; two brothers, Bill and Sam Ullum; two sisters, Mae Charlton and Susie Dulice; and grandson, Zac Monroe.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Lisa) Monroe; two daughters, Nancy (Dave) Williams and Tammy (Bull) Loughery; two sisters, Janie Fuccy and Jackie Setzer; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
