William Edward Moore, 74, of Bellaire Ohio passed away on March 9, 2026, WVU Medicine, Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Born on May 30, 1951, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Robert and Anna Mae Moore.
William dedicated his professional life to working as a welder at the former Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, where his skill and commitment were highly regarded by his colleagues. His contributions to the industry were marked by a steadfast work ethic and an unwavering dedication to his craft.
In addition to his career, William served his country with honor as a veteran of the United States Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, William Edward Moore II, siblings, Betty Beckett, and Robert Moore II.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Kittel Moore of Bellaire, daughters Sondra T. Mehl (James Kindberg) of Bellaire, Ohio and Cantina ‘Candy’ Jeffers of Tiltonsville, Ohio, grandchildren; Breann (Keith) Brown of Shadyside, Ohio, Brandon Allen Delili of Bellaire, Ohio, Emilee Josephine Mehl of Bellaire, Ohio and Daniele Erica Mehl of Bellaire, Ohio as well as one great-granddaughter, Evelynn Brown, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as a brother, Michael Marshall and one sister Marilyn (Richard) Kolenich.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. The family will announce a celebration of life in May, details to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville Ohio 43950.
