Rodney Allen Hillberry, born on September 24, 1997, in Glen Dale, West Virginia, passed away on March 29, 2026, in Charleston, West Virginia, at the age of 28.
Rodney was a dedicated auto mechanic, known for his skill and passion for his work. Outside of his profession, he found joy in the great outdoors, often spending his time riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, camping, and exploring nature. His artistic talents were evident in everything he did, and he had a keen interest in geology and rock collecting, as well as astronomy.
Rodney attended the National Road Church of Christ, where he found community.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carrie Jo (Clark) Hillberry. He leaves behind his father, John (Georgiann) Hillberry; his brother, Brady James (Alysha) Hillberry; and his grandmother, Nancy Clark, along with numerous friends who will miss him dearly.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, all services will be private. Rodney will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his artistic flair, his lovable personality, and his love for the natural world.
