Mark A. Carlier, 62, of Bridgeport, Ohio passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, April 2, 2024.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son to the late Harry and Carol (Mellott) Carlier.
Mark dedicated much of his life to his work as a floor installer, a profession he cherished deeply, especially when working alongside his family. Outside of his professional life, Mark was a talented mechanic and handyman, known for fixing anything that came his way.
Mark also had a profound love for animals, which was evident in the way he cared for them throughout his life. Whether tending to the needs of a stray or simply enjoying a pet’s company, his compassion for all creatures was unwavering.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alexis Scarnecchia; aunt, Sherry Carlier; and brother-in-law, Mark Milbert.
He survived by his wife, Diana Carlier, of Bridgeport, Ohio; siblings, Carol Anne Carlier, Charles (Cheryl) Carlier, all of Bridgeport, Ohio; uncle, Danny Carlier of Belmont, Ohio; brother-in-law, Mike Scarnecchia of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mark’s wishes, there will be no public service. Arrangements are entrusted to CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists at 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
