Stormi Emmerling

Stormi Elizabeth Emmerling, 61, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. Born on September 5, 1964, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, she was a cherished daughter, devoted wife, loving mother, and adored grandmother.

Stormi attended St. Aloysius School, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by kindness and service to others. Her career as a housekeeper began humbly, cleaning for a few families, but quickly grew into a full-time job due to her warm personality and genuine care for those she served.

Her family was her foremost priority, and she was never happier than when surrounded by her loved ones. Stormi had a beautiful soul, always placing everyone else’s needs above her own. Upon becoming a grandmother, she poured her heart and affection into her grandchildren, creating treasured memories and leaving a legacy of love. Stormi had a fiery spirit that could light up any room. She was bold yet gentle in her heart, always ready to listen and comfort.

Preceded in death by her father, Frank Harper, who passed away in January 2026, as well as her sister, LeAnn Brownfield, and brother, Frankie “Bubbie” Harper, Jr.

She leaves behind her husband, Kelly Emmerling, and her devoted children: Jessica (Anthony Witherow) Willison, Kelly (Ashley) Emmerling, Jr., Christine (Cody) Heaton, and Michael Emmerling, all residing in East Liverpool. Her children were the very center of her world. Her love for them was constant, selfless and unconditional. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ericka Heaton, Gabriella Heaton, Abagail Heaton, Gianna Congrove, Linkoln Emmerling, Amelia Heaton, and Luca Emmerling, who were the light of her life and will forever cherish her memory. She loved them with a quiet, steady devotion that filled every moment they shared. In their laughter, she found her greatest joy, and in their hugs, her deepest comfort. Also surviving are her loving mother, Elsie Harper of East Liverpool; her sister, Mary (David) Delaney; and brother, Francis Szatkiewicz, Jr.

Respecting Stormi’s wishes, no services will be held.
