Patricia “Patty” Ann Danehart Richmond, 73, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, April 10, 2026 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born January 5, 1953, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Melvin and Rose Druschel Danehart.
Patty was a hardworker, retiring at the age of 70 from Good Shepherd Nursing Home’s Housekeeping Department after 18 years. She loved Bingo, the Pittsburgh Steelers and most importantly, her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Brooke; sisters, Peggy and Anna; brothers, Fred and Tom; and a nephew, Mike.
She is survived by her children, Shelley (Kevin) Frye, Rusty Richmond and Lori Richmond; grandchildren, Kelcy (Chris), Bub (Nakita), Dom, Keegan and Karter; great-grandchildren, Carson, Weston, Hayes, Crew, Crosley and Lizzie; brother, Ed (Sherry) Danehart; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277-2722), where services will be held Monday, April 13, 2026 at 10 AM with Pastor Mike Palmer officiating.
Interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
