Danielle Mae Sadler, 41, born on September 21, 1984, in Steubenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Danielle enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She had a profound love for the arts, spending countless hours painting and coloring, a pastime that brought her great peace and happiness. Her love for children and animals was evident to all who knew her, and she cherished every moment spent in their company. Her beloved dog, Honey Bun, and cat, Arora, were constant companions who filled her days with warmth and joy.
Danielle also had a passion for jewelry, an accessory she never left home without, which allowed her to express her unique style and creativity.
She is preceded in death by her cherished children, son Gabriel Hellock and daughter Izarel Hellock; her father, Joseph Strohmeyer, Sr.; grandmother, Edith Strohmeyer; and uncle, Andy Strohmeyer, Sr. and several other family members.
Danielle leaves behind many loving family members and friends, including her devoted mother, Florence “Flo” Strohmeyer (Jeremy Clovis); brother, Joseph (Justyn) Strohmeyer, Jr.; sister, Clara Strohmeyer (Marcus); grandmother, Sandra Sadler; aunts, Laura, Toni, and Laurie Strohmeyer; uncle, Louis (Linda) Sadler; nieces, Jazmine Strohmeyer, Hydie Smith, and Scarlett Strohmeyer; nephew, Elyjah Gibson; as well as several cousins.
Services to honor Danielle’s memory will be held with visitation on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV. A private committal service will take place at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, West Virginia, at the convenience of the family.
