Lois Ann Taylor, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on November 13, 1959, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she graced this world with kindness that touched everyone she met.
A devoted child care worker, Lois dedicated her career to nurturing and caring for children, embodying warmth and empathy in every interaction. Her gentle spirit provided comfort to families and created a lasting impact on countless young lives.
Lois found her greatest joy within her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, ever ready to lend a helping hand or share in their laughter. Whether it was taking them to the store, attending doctors’ appointments, or simply running errands, Lois’s family could always count on her unwavering support. Her love and care extended beyond her family, reaching out to friends and strangers alike, leaving an indelible mark of generosity and kindness.
Rooted in her Catholic faith, Lois lived a life of grace, guided by values of compassion and service. Her heart was open to all, and she inspired those around her with her selflessness and joyful spirit.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Louis and Rosemary (Moses) Filuis, and her sister, Betty Yourkovich. Lois is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Rob Taylor, and her dear daughter, Crystal Wright. She also leaves behind her siblings, Vicki Weidman (Bill), Rose Summers (Dave), Gail Neidert (Kevin), Donna Hall (Chuck), Lou Filuis, Tim Filuis (Joy), and Charlene Linabarger (Ron); grandchildren, Taylor Burson (Derek), Braxton Wright (Kerien), and Sarina Wright; and great-grandchildren, Chris, Kevin, and Nikolas Burson. Her loyal Australian Shepherd, Winnie, and numerous nieces and nephews will also feel the absence of her loving presence.
