JoAnne Seals Bosworth, 80, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born December 10, 1945, in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Frank and Doris Davis Seals.
JoAnne was the church secretary at Thompson United Methodist Church, a lay leader of the United Methodist Church in Wheeling and very active in Wheeling High School’s class of 1964 alumni.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Bosworth; sisters, Bev and Jeanette; brothers, Larry, Frank, Bill, Kenneth, Buddy, Vernon, Wayne and Richard; nephew, Alan; great-niece, Bailey; and her former spouse, Stephen Bosworth.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Wagner; significant other of 20 years, Brad Wheeler and his daughter, Carrie Wheeler; grandchildren, Ava, Eli and Wren; sisters-in-law, Carla, Linda and Louise; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 12 PM until the time of service at 4 PM with Rev. Debra Dague officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd., Wheeling (304-232-2732).
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, will be held at the convenience of the family.
