Ruth Ann Henry, 82, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born March 14, 1944, in Wheeling, daughter of the late George and Leoma Vessels Burch.
Ruth worked at CorningWare in Paden City, WV then worked as an in-home caretaker until she was 75. She was 1 of 11 children and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved birds, especially cardinals, enjoyed going shopping and loved going dancing and going to casinos. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Jane Lilley, who was like a daughter to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry; and 10 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Klages and Randy Klages; grandchildren, Teela Klages, Amber Durbin, Jessica (Joshua) Orum, Jeffrey (Michaela Clark) Klages, Jr., Alex, Eric and Nicole Klages; great-grandchildren, Gaige, Gracelyn and Georgia Orum, Mason and Zoey Klages; sister, Wanda Matz; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Monday, June 8, 2026 from 1 – 3 PM and 4 – 6 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
