Cindy Lou Young, 68, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Born on January 21, 1958, in New Martinsville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lawrence Morgan and Sarah Rhoda Travis Morgan.
Cindy was a dedicated and skilled Office Manager at Witchey’s, where she spent many years contributing to the success of the company. Her colleagues admired her professionalism and commitment.
Outside of her professional life, Cindy cherished her family above all else. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved, creating memories that will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to share in them. Cindy’s kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her son Christopher Shawn Young, a granddaughter Hannah Young brothers; Robert David Morgan, Larry Morgan, William Morgan, and Charles Morgan and a sister, Roberta Robinson.
Survivoring are her husband of 49 years, Burton Young, daughter; Kimberly (Scott) Carson, grandchildren; Cierra (Brandon) Ashbrook, Makenzie (Chris) Riley, Ethan CarsonCaleb (Riley) Young, and Madison (Jeffery) Summers, great-grandchildren; Kristopher Ashbrook, Oliver Ashbrook, Trevonte Young and Zayden Riley.
Per Cindy’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Private arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville Ohio 43950.
