Charlotte Rose Liddell Bonar, 88, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born June 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Lillie Liddell of Ackerman, Mississippi.
Throughout her youth, she and her family faithfully attended church, Sunday school, and summer camp meetings at South Union Methodist Church in her hometown.
Charlotte’s true passion was flowers and yard gardening. She pursued this passion her entire life and was always on the lookout for a color or flower she didn’t have. In her later years, she filled her days scrapbooking photos of her family, and especially enjoyed incorporating hidden surprises into the pages to be found while flipping through a completed book.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Gay; twin brother, Larry Liddell; and sisters, Willie Fay, Alma, and Jean Dorris.
Surviving are three children, Mark (Laura) Bonar, Crystal (Brad) Bonar, and Matt (Tammy) Bonar; brother, Terry Liddell; sister, Jerry (Jimmy) Fulce; grandchildren, Ciera (Scott) Petrock, Riley (Michael) Carpenter, Alicia (Cole) Mount, Bradley Bonar, Chase Bonar, and Eric Bonar; and six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Lilyrose, Everett, Noah, Henry, and Tucker.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, July 20, 2026 at West Liberty Christian Church from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM with Rev. Dennis Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Prall Cemetery.
