Laura Jane Hall, born on February 6, 1937, in Mannington, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, at the age of 89.

Laura was a beloved sister, cherished by all who knew her for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She spent her career as a dedicated prep-cook at the old Elby’s restaurant at the Ohio Valley Mall, where she touched many lives with her warm hospitality and unwavering work ethic.

Growing up, Laura found joy in crafting with her mother, a passion that continued throughout her life. She had a special love for Hallmark movies, which brought her comfort and happiness. An avid bingo enthusiast, Laura could often be found enjoying a lively game with friends and family.

Raised in the Protestant faith, Laura attended the Bethlehem Alliance Church in Bethlehem, West Virginia. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she drew strength from her community.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Chandis and Evelyn Hall, and her sister, Kathrine Hall. She leaves behind her loving siblings: Charles Hall Sr., Reverend William Hall, Sharon Johnson, and Rodney Hall. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Though no services will be held, Laura’s family and friends are invited to remember her through their cherished memories and shared stories.

Laura will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle presence and loving soul will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
