Patricia H. Kleinedler (O’Neill), 90, of Wheeling, WV passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026 at home.
Patty was a beloved member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church where she enjoyed the privilege of being a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Lady Knight and choir member. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Patty enriched the lives of many as being a natural caregiver and babysitter. Selflessly caring for others was a way of life for her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William “Pinball” Kleinedler; parents: Robert and Helen (Kupsky) O’Neill; brother, PFC, Robert “Tommy” O’Neill and three sisters: Dorothy (Carl) Schneider, Peggy (Jim) Tully, Nancy (Bump) McGill.
Left to carry on Patty’s legacy of love and faith is her loving son, William “Billy” Joseph Kleinedler; a sister, Mary Ann (Ed) Palmer; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews as well as two specials angels to her, Debbie and Amy Haberfield.
Family and friends will be received at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil and Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. a Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with interment to immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
