Together Again
Sharon Lee (Bailer) Ellison, born on October 9, 1941, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, in Wheeling, West Virginia, at the age of 84.
A devoted homemaker, Sharon dedicated her life to her family and community. She was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a member of Stone Presbyterian Church.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Ellison, III; her parents, Andrew and Virginia (Smith) Bailer; and her brother-in-law, Robert Butler.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael Ellison, and his wife, Crystal, of Newport, KY; her cherished daughter, Michele Postlewait, her husband, Jeffrey, of Wheeling, WV, and her sister, Patricia Butler of Wheeling, WV. Sharon’s legacy continues through her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by two nephews, two great-nephews, and one great-niece, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
In accordance with Sharon’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Private services & interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
